Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have always been for the strong and sexy kind of women. There have been vibrant colours, sexy shapes and no girly looks at all. This time, the Italian duo has departured from their previous season’s touch. Charmingly naive art prints and embroideries saying „Amore per sempre“ decorated dresses. A pregnant model, kids and babies hit the runway while contrarily widow looks infused the collection at the same time. The all present issue of family life was the starting point for Fall-Winter and bridged to real life. Dolce and Gabbana added a refreshing touch to their DNA whilst remaining true to their signature inspiration, Sicily. A pastel coloured coat was worn with a pastel coloured dress of the same pink shade, other dresses were printed with naive sketching or embroidered with dedications such as „I love you mamma“. The designers presented a kids inspired statement that invited to linger in own memories. This line-up was cute, adorable and yet sexy. After all, it was a tribute to the best mammas in the world.
