Something Leopard

OPINIONS TEND TO DIFFER ON THE WILD PRINT, ITS REPUTATION HAS NOT ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD ONE. CONTRARY OPINIONS ASIDE, LEOPARD IS HAVING A SHARP RISE DURING THE EARLY FALL SEASON.

There was a time when leopard prints had a quite questionable reputation but it didn’t ever really disappear from the runway. Kate Moss showed us how to wear it almost a decade ago and slowly but surely Leopard print fought its way into our wardrobes, bringing a fresh wildness and sophistication season after season.

Burberry gets straight to the point with a coat that adds a full-blown twist to an all black ensemble, whilst Lanvin doubles up on the fiercest of leopard creations. Stella McCartney adds new life to the jungle print within a orange haze and Altuzarra takes away all prejudices to make leopard office appropriate.

No matter where we looked the season’s print definitely is the most obvious way to get spotted. Either worn as a total look or placing emphasis on accessories like boots or bags, we are pretty well taken care of. And if you haven’t been up for a wild affair until now, pre-Fall is the time to take the leap.
