Deconstructed

FALLING IN LOVE WITH FASHION MEANS STANDING OUT FROM THE CROWD. IT’S ABOUT EXPERIMENTATION AND TAKING A RISK, GOING WHERE NOBODY HAS DARED TO BEFORE. THE RESULT? AN AVANT-GARDE WARDROBE THAT MIXES EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED DESIGNERS, CREATING A TRULY UNIQUE LOOK THAT IS OF THE MOMENT.

Such designs make a true style statement, playing with new silhouettes, cuts and forms. Perhaps it’s a structural layer, an oversized bow, or separates assembled in a different way. Classic staples are turned inside out, as brands search for a new silhouette or finish. Marni teaches us that granny chic can be cool, exaggerating the little details. Acne Studios choose a softer approach, wrapping the body in luxe layers with original additions. Haider Ackerman plays with new layers to blend items in to one another, exploring sleek textures and gentle movement. On the other hand, Victoria Beckham takes a contemporary twist on tailoring, tweaking the structure to embrace a fresh take on femininity. The path to true individuality is in our hands as the clothes connect us to the future.
