THE MODERN UTILITY TREND - PRACTICAL, POWERFUL AND APPRECIATIVELY COMFORTABLE. THIS YEARS MOST WEARABLE TREND TROOPS FORWARD ONCE AGAIN, WINNING OVER OUR HEARTS AND INTO OUR WARDROBES.

Has this trend ever really been abandoned from the catwalk? If we couldn’t call it a macro trend previously, it was at least a trend that subtly found it’s way in many seasons over, mirroring in details on jackets or trousers. SS15 sees the military trend back in force.
Marc Jacobs marched comrade-in-arms with reminiscent silhouettes and his signature bold accents, this time with protruding utilitarian pockets and waists cinched in with military belts. Kenzo recruits a one-man army dressed in a satin suit and gumboots for early fall whereas Dries van Noten sets a luxe statement in khaki hues and earthy tones. Expect this trend to stay, this soldier never seems to lose strength.
