THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BOLD AND EDGY LOOK WE LOVE HAVING, WITHOUT DISFAVOURING A JOYFUL WARDROBE. WELL WE ARE LUCKY SINCE DESIGNERS REVISITED THE BIKER JACKET, THIS TIME, JOINING EYE-CATCHY ELEMENTS, POPS OF COLOUR, STUDS AND OTHER RICH EMBELLISHMENTS FOR THEIR SPRING/SUMMER 2016 COLLECTIONS.
With a reworked perfecto, Louis Vuitton pasted its famous monogram along with white and red stripes on the sleeves, producing a bolder while modern jacket. Christopher Kane decided to make a statement with a leather ensemble, combing a skirt and a short mannish jacket with colour drops all over the garment, creating a playful outfit. With an old-school vibe, Marc Jacobs’ large red leather jacket is embellished with several brooches, while John Galliano designed the perfect grunge moto jacket using studs on sleeves and collar. The most decorative topper goes to Gucci with a flourish hand-painted and hand-embroidered leather jacket filled up with studded details. With a step into the 70’s and a jacket more feminine then ever, we are sure to find this original beauty everywhere.
