90'S UNDERGROUND

ON THE RUNWAY OR OFF THE RUNWAY, MODELS ARE OFTEN WHOM WE LOOK UP TO FOR INSPIRATIONS.

Seeing all over the Spring/Summer 2016 collections and continuing along Fall/Winter 2016, the punk-rock slash gothic Lolita style has been spotted quite a lot on street style and is well supported by models like Sora choi, Marjan Jonkman and Binx Walton, who seem to cherish this look.

Parading with coveted pieces fresh off the runway from Louis Vuitton to Alexander Wang, and combining elements inspired by Vetements as well as Hood-By-Air, models have succumbed into the 90’s punk movement wearing their everyday staple leather jackets with loose hoodies and mini kilts, accessorised with chokers, ripped net stocking and leather chunky boots. Whether it is a way of acting out from all the events surrounding our everyday life or only a fashion statement, this atmosphere has been felt all around us.
