GRAPHIC BOHEMIA

WHEN IT COMES TO JEWELS THIS SEASON, BOHEMIA SHEDS THE DAINTY DELICACY IN FAVOUR FOR SOME EXTRA LAYERS THAT GO BIGGER AND WISER, BOLD AND GRAPHIC.

Graphic gems stay true to their purest form of rock crystal and smoky quartz. Alber Elbaz’s Moroccan fall trek refused to chip back any signs of excavation, leaving the natural rock shapes leather strung. Lanvin’s elaborate woven pendants journey with cotton and crystal tassels, as with earrings that stay clipped on for a split second bohemian trim. Dries Van Noten has viscose, silk and feathers enamour his richly ornate collection with neck pieces that are by far lush enough to stand on their own. Flower petals swap their regal decay for a resin moulded geometric character.

Marni’s resin gilded metal jewel frame keeps all eyes on necklace’s tilted semi-precious stones. Louis Vuitton’s resin and lacquer Solaris necklace has gems cast in brass and gold shapes, hinged with the intent of remixing a constructive order. Etro’s solid cuff carries the mood of a far away find as with Chloé's Harow brass bangle with an ostrich feather tassel, a tinge of exotica to elevate the vibe of this season’s new bohemian graphic rhapsody.
