REGAL RED

THE COLOUR OF LOVE AND FIRE HAS TINTED DESIGNER COLLECTIONS IN ONE OF ITS MOST VIBRANT SHADES. UNMISSABLE AND ATTRACTIVE, THE COLOUR RED HAS FEATURED AS THE STAR OF THE SEASON, MAKING ACCESSORIES AND GARMENTS OF ALL KINDS STAND OUT WITH THAT CERTAIN EXTRA SOMETHING THAT ONLY RED CAN SUPPLY.

One sure way to turn up the volume of any outfit is by adding a pair of bright red shoes. Luckily there is no shortage of choice this season, with designers such as Emanuel Ungaro, Dsquared, Gucci and Calvin Klein providing rich pickings for all occasions. Be it a fiery high-heeled sandal or a casual red canvas shoe, choosing a bold red tone for your footwear will clearly add personality to your outfit.

If a bright, but none the less partial, use of this colour is still too tame for you, there is certainly no looking away from the abundance of red monotone outfits at hand this season. From bright red two piece suits, as presented by Altuzarra, Rosie Assoulin or Mary Katrantzou (who does an interesting short-trouser suit combo), to floor length gowns by Vionnet and Valentino, to a vast range of stunning over coats by Acne Studios, Marc Jacobs and Burberry, it will be difficult to decide which one to go for. On thing is certain however, every woman should have at least one outfit in red at hand for those moments when an extra amount of dazzle is needed, whether it is to satisfy your own personal wild side or to turn up the heat on the outside.
