SOUS LA MER

STEPPING AWAY FROM THE NAUTICAL CLASSICS AND DIVING INTO A PEACEFUL UTOPIA WHERE FISHNET DRESSING MEETS MERMAID-LIKE SEQUINS, WE ARE CALLING OUT FOR ALL PEACEFUL DREAMERS.

Living at the ocean has now become a dream turned reality. Dipping deeper into the summer season’s trends, we are captivated by the pure and mythical underwater world of Atlantis, recreated by fashion’s giants. Taking us from beach-to-bar, the nautical themed summer is entering the port with a magical wave of red, white and blue that sets the sails and is taking us on a journey. Inspired by the ocean’s mysterious depths, summer’s offers are filled with shells, mermaids, corals and fishes embroidered and decorated on everything from dresses to shoes. Alongside, clean breton stripes in red, white and blue are relived, letting old classics appear with a totally new feel. Rather subdued approaches we see at Agent Provocateur, whilst full-blown ensembles are spotted at Giorgio Armani, Emilio Pucci and Dsquared2. Designers are referencing all things maritime and unite for a magical wave of deep-sea treasures. Take a plunge and join the journey, because this summer’s mood is everything but sinking.
