CELEBRATING ALEXANDER MCQUEENS EXTRAORDINARY FASHION, AN EXHIBITION IN THE VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM IN LONDON REVEALS EVERYTHING FROM PIECES OF HIS MASTER GRADUATE COLLECTION TO HIS UNDETERMINED FALL WINTER 2010 LINE-UP.

„You’ve got to know the rules to break them. That’s what I’m here for, to demolish the rules but to keep the tradition.“ Alexander McQueen once said. And so he did. Starting tomorrow, on the 14th of March, the V&A museum honours Alexander McQueen’s era of visionary work in London. The museum announced, that McQueens designs will be presented in a way that reflects to the often dramatic and rather spectacular mise-en-scènes of his runway shows.

Those who missed the exhibition at the Metropolitan museum of Art in New York in 2011 can now rejoice and visit the first and largest retrospective of the deceased designer that is presented in Europe. In the run-up tickets have already been sold out and the museum extended the exhibition before it even started. Plus, 50.000 additional tickets were released. It is a pretty great starter to predict it to be the European exhibition hit in 2015 after it was ranked the MoMa’s top 10 most visited exhibitions.
