Prada conquers Salzburg

ITALIAN ICON PRADA CELEBRATED ITS FIRST BOUTIQUE OPENING IN A PRESTIGIOUS BUILDING IN SALZBURG. PLACED IN THE HISTORIC CENTRE, THE BRAND OPENED ITS DOORS TO THE CITY’S SOCIAL LIFE ON MAY 8th.

On the 7th of May, one day before the official opening, Prada celebrated the pre-opening of its first store in the Old Market Square in Salzburg, Austria. Within the historical backdrop of the Steindl building, architect Roberto Baciocchi aimed to merge the aesthetics of the prestigious fashion house with historic elements through preserving the image of this historic building. Laying emphasis on uniting innovation and heritage, the interior reflects on the first Prada store that opened in Milan in 1913. On two levels, Prada puts ready-to-wear as well as leather goods, footwear and accessories on display. Characterized by a luxurious atmosphere, the brand provides for a polished environment, perfectly integrated into the context.
