Peter Dundas takes over at Cavalli

AFTER MONTHS OF RUMOURS IT NOW IS OFFICIAL: PETER DUNDAS HAS BEEN APPOINTED THE NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT ROBERTO CAVALLI. AFTER BEING THE CREATIVE LEAD AT EMILIO PUCCI FOR THE PAST SEVEN YEARS HE ANNOUNCED TO RETURN TO WHERE HE CAME FROM.

Just a few hours ago the news broke that Peter Dundas will be the new Creative Director at Roberto Cavalli. After he has been the head designer at Emilio Pucci since 2008 he will be debuting his second “first” Cavalli collection in September 2015 at Milan Fashion Week. "The choice of Peter Dundas was made with the desire to evolve a style that combines glamour, tradition, and innovation, recognized worldwide as the signature of Cavalli since the birth of the house", Eva and Roberto Cavalli announced.
The Norwegian returns to the brand where he has already been the chief of design from 2002 until 2005. To his new lead at the house he claimed: "This is a homecoming for me. It is an honour for me to continue to evolve the wonderful world of Roberto Cavalli and I am very excited by the possibilities and potential of this unique brand. I cannot wait to get started." – and neither do we.
