Parisian Pastime

HERMÈS INVITES YOU TO TAKE A STROLL THROUGH ITS HISTORY. THE WANDERLAND EXHIBITION DISPLAYS THE LOST ART OF REVERIE AND WELCOMES A FREEDOM OF SPIRIT.

From today, the 9th of April until the 2nd of May 2015, the house of Hermès will be showcasing their “Wanderland” exhibition in the Saatchi Gallery in London. As the name already suggests, Wanderland issues the art of strolling around, a typically Parisian pastime that Hermès draws inspiration from. Designed by Hubert le Gall, the exhibition invites you into a Parisian inspired cityscape to discover a world where leisure and luxury, fun and fantasy are the prime objectives. Its visitors are encouraged to find themselves in the role of flâneurs, to slow down and dedicate a closer look to the environment surrounding them. Significant items from both Emile Hermès and more contemporary collections are lovingly curated, but don’t expect just leather and silk, the house of Hermès has many curiosities.
