CATWALK ELITE FW16

EACH SEASON WE ARE EAGER TO SEE IF NEWCOMERS MAKE IT TO THE RUNWAY OF SOME OF THE MOST POWERFUL FASHION HOUSES AND WHOM, FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASONS, STAY ON TOP OF THE LIST.

Odette & Lia Pavlova

Feeling twice the impact, our number one this season is actually a number two with the twins Odette and Lia Pavlova. The sisters started their modeling career separately and went straight to the top once walking side by side. Counting 71 shows for Lia and 62 for Odette, the twins are on fire!

Lineisy Montero

With just a number lower than Odette Pavlova, our favourite Dominican beauty is one of the hot tops that stay on track, walking nearly every big show including Prada, Valentino, Céline, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs.

Marjan Jonkman

Great for editorial pictures, Marjan aslo rules the runway, starting few seasons ago. With her modest presence, Marjan Jonkman walked down the runway at Kenzo, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Loewe and Dior among other renowned fashion houses.

Maartje Verhoef

Continuing with features in powerhouse campaign pictures like Dior and Moschino, Maartje Verhoef emanate grace throughout visuals and upon the catwalk. With an opening at Mary Katrantzou and a closing at Alexander McQueen and Ralph Lauren, Maartje Verhoef also walked alongside Balmain, Mugler, Lanvin, Chloé, Louis Vuitton, Valentino and Chanel counting 53 shows this season.

Sora Choi

After winning Korea’s Next Top Model in 2012, Sora Choi slowly took position into the rank of international runways. Since having been picked out by Nicolas Ghesquière himself for the Louis Vuitton SS15 show, the Korean bloom is on the rise counting 51 shows this season including Louis Vuitton, of course, Dries Van Noten and Lanvin.

Adrienne Jüliger

With a quite but visible move starting few years ago, the German born Adrienne Jüliger and her baby face has everything to triumph in the fashion industry. With a great fit for brands like Giambattista Valli and Lanvin, Adrienne Jüliger also walked down the runway for Dior, Sacai, Acne Studios and Isabel Marant among others.

Irina Djuranovic

More subtle and discreet, the natural beauty Irina Djuranovic walked alongside various shows including Valentino, Mary Katrantzou, Calvin Klein, Etro, Jil Sander, Roberto Cavalli and Alexander McQueen with a charming closing at Erdem.

Vanessa Moody

After only three years on the fashion scene, Vanessa Moody can be seen everywhere from billboards to magazines to nearly every major show. With 36 shows this season, the sublime American walked for Stella McCartney, Chanel, Givenchy, Mugler, Balmain, Chloé and Lanvin, to state a few.

Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov

From campaign shots to editorial images, Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov is also one of the tops that can be spotted all over the fashion scene! Even though our beautiful Estonian girl has dropped a few numbers this season, her strong strut must not be forgotten! With 35 shows this season, Alexandra walked down the runway at Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace among others.

Mica Arganaraz

Last but not least, our favourite Argentine girl had the privilege to open the show at Chanel and Vera Wang with her shaggy hairstyle that we truly love and beautifully closed at Fendi with a total of 32 shows this season.
