LONDON DAY 2

AFTER MINIMALIST AND ABSTRACT APPROACHES ON THE FIRST DAY, THE SECOND DAY CONTINUED WITH EXPERIMENTAL AND VENTUROUS COLLECTIONS, JUST AS WE EXPECT LONDON’S FASHION TO BE.

J.W. Anderson’s continuous approach on experimenting with volume was slightly interrupted by swirling and twisted tops and skirts and a lot of different things that were going on at his runway show yesterday. Interior design was the key and his wide range of possibilities left no wishes open to decorate ourselves for the fall season ahead. Affected by giving birth to her daughter lately, Simone Rocha narrated the story of historic hospitals and pure femininity beginning with the light continuing with an emotional colour range and ending with suitable make-up. Sensitive tulles and chiffons came to use in relaxed silhouettes without ever loosing its femininity. Speaking of feminine approaches, Gareth Pugh could not have been more suitable to include. His most wearable and commercialised collection yet put body conscious silhouettes and down-to-earth hues from nude to lilac to the fore. Besides the Hannibal Lecter masks that a few models were wearing he quit his entertaining accessories for Fall 2016, something that we did not miss in his line-up.
