Milan Day 3

AT THE PEAK OF MILAN FASHION WEEK WE GOT TO SEE A VARIETY OF NEW TRENDS FOR THE UPCOMING SPRING/SUMMER 2016 SEASON. FROM FULL BLOWN BOHO STYLES TO NEAT TAILORING, IT WAS A DAY THAT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE VERSATILE.

Blumarine appeared in full bloom and sheer fabrics (again). The house would never ditch its signature, which is a good thing in this case and who says the expected cannot be exciting? Definitely not expected where those flattering pants.

Somewhat retro and somewhat nautical, Sportmax introduced a rather minimalistic line-up that will be a sure bestseller for the labels fan base. Tangerine hues and sporty knotted belts provided for a perfect mix of retro and future, wearable here and now.

Etro went for a full-blown bohemian spirit for Spring/Summer 2016. The label’s signature kaleidoscopic prints beautifully merged with slightly Victorian touches.

According to the show notes, Tod’s dedicated its collection to “Fifteen strong personalities who don’t follow the rules because they make their own.” Alessandra Facchinetti went beyond the rules and created a collection somewhat rockabilly but in a soft and tender way. On the contrary, Versace ended the day with a strong, sexy and confident collection, made for International Women's Day.
