GUCCI’S NEW IDENTITY

A FEW HOURS AGO, THE HOUSE OF GUCCI ANNOUNCED THE NEW STORE DESIGN CONCEPT BY CREATIVE DIRECTOR ALESSANDRO MICHELE. THE ICONIC ITALIAN HOUSE WILL REDESIGN ITS BOUTIQUES TO SHOWCASE THE DESIGNERS FIRST COLLECTION FOR FALL/WINTER 2015.

Gucci is on the rise and literally has a lot in store for us. Since Michele took over, the label is constantly moving forward. Besides the collections, its newfound contemporary vision is also breathing life into new advertising campaigns, new store windows, new packaging and above all, a redesign of the store concept. Coinciding with the start of Milan Women’s Fashion Week, the flagship store in Via Montenapoleone is the first store to be completely reworked.

“Today we live in a world of contrasts and it is this that makes life interesting. The new store design not only brings together diverse elements, blurring the lines between the traditional and the contemporary, but also allows the clothes and accessories to speak for themselves, ” Michele said. Inspired by travel, a central theme in the houses history, the new stores invite to constantly discover new aspects whilst feeling relaxed and welcome. Industrial metal elements will be combined with softer materials, like velvet, to create a surprising experience. The brand is on a promising journey and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for it.
