THE LEGENDARY MONOGRAM OF LOUIS VUITTON IS ONE OF THE MOST CHARACTERISTIC IN THE WORLD. THE QUATREFOILS, FLOWERS AND SIGNATURE LV INITIALS ARE NEARLY AS OLD AS THE BRAND ITSELF AND ONE OF THE MOST RECOGNIZED SYMBOLS OF LUXURY TODAY.

Perhaps the secret to it’s success, is that the brand has always aimed at reinventing the monogram, by incorporating it in innovative and creative ways. For the SS15 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière, has once again come up with the unexpected. Perfectly in tune with this seasons 70s inspired runway collections, that were taking audiences back in time with staple garments so reminiscent of those flower power years, the beautifully crafted Instinct Half Boot is everything a true Louis Vuitton lover could desire.

The classic shape gives the ankle boot an avant-garde timelessness that can be easily combined, be it for a sexy evening date or a casual rendezvous at noon. Most impressive however, is the beautiful quatrefoils shaped heel that Ghesquière has crafted for this shoe. In a discrete yet bold way, he has once again managed to incorporate one of the essentials of the signature LV monogram in a new and unprecedented way - a perfect compliment to this classic boot. So, to all those Louis Vuitton lovers out there, now, no matter where you go, you will leave an imprint of your ever so cherished Louis V’s.
